When people ask me what’s it like having a boy, this is what comes to mind….
Teen Titans Go premiered tonight, so I guess it’s cool to post up a few odd and ends from the episode I was lucky enough to have freelanced on. Some used and unused concepts. Hope everyone digs the show!
Cool! The poster art I did for Teen Titans Go was just released over on Nerdist.com (some of you may remember an earlier version here). If you’re at WonderCon this weekend, you can score a copy signed by the crew. Looking forward to checking out the show premiere April 23rd.
The interview I did for Guys With Pencils is up. Listen to me ramble aimlessly about work and talk about why I hate sleep. Thanks, Andrew and Adam!
I get asked this question a ton. Probably more than I’d like. Most of the brushes I use are made from scanned in paint textures. That one in particular you’ve asked about, isn’t mine though. It’s from a talented fella by the name of Drew Green, and he’s got a great tutorial up on his DeviantArt about how to make it. Enjoy!
I mostly use Paint Tool Sai for drawing, and Photoshop for anything painterly.
Paint Tool Sai is a fantastic program and highly recommended. It’s cheap (~$54 US), low on memory and most importantly….smooth like butter to draw in. The best I’ve come across yet. Only for Windows users though. Sorry Mac peoples.
