Teen Titans Go premiered tonight, so I guess it’s cool to post up a few odd and ends from the episode I was lucky enough to have freelanced on. Some used and unused concepts. Hope everyone digs the show!
During our Christmas trip to Punta Cana, I was suddenly woken up at 2am by the sound of a screaming wife and son. One of them had woken up to notice a giant spider on the ceiling, and loudly alerted the rest of us to it’s presence. Assuming they were using the word” giant spider” in Canadian terms, I went to the bathroom and put in my contacts so that I could see it well enough to squish it with my shoe. When I came out and looked up, I came face to face with the biggest spider I had ever seen (tarantula sized…not illustration size) After three or four attempts to smash it, I finally got it…much to the relief of my family. As I scraped it off on the patio, Sue said “I wish you hadn’t killed it right away…..it would of made an awesome picture.”
